摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide a gear shaft bearing mechanism used for a headlamp optical axis adjusting device, rotatably supporting the gear shaft of a gear rotated being meshed with the tip part of a cross-tip screwdriver, simple, lightweight, low-priced and withstanding the pressing force of the screwdriver and moreover capable of rapidly and easily assemble the gear shaft. CONSTITUTION: A bearing plate 21 is formed of synthetic resin integrally with a lamp housing 14. The gear shaft of a simplified driven bevel 15 is hidden by the bevel gear 15 but concentric with the bevel gear 15 and orthogonal to this paper face. The bearing plate 21 is provided with a slot-like cutout 22 bent (in L-shape in this example) for fitting the gear shaft. The vicinity of the end part of the slot-like cutout 22 is in the same direction as an arrow mark.</p>
