PURPOSE: To obtain a refrigerator oil for a hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant, useful for a closed type compressor, etc., having compatibility with an HFC refrigerant, excellent hydrolytic stability, electrical insulating properties and lubricating properties, containing a specific hydrocarbon compound. CONSTITUTION: This refrigerator oil for a hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant comprises a hydrocarbon compound of the formula (R is a 1-8C alkylene or alkenylene; R<1> to R<4> are each H or a 1 4C alkyl; the number of total carbons of R and R<1> to R<4> is 1-8) such as diphenylmethane. Preferably, 100 pts.wt. of the hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant is mixed with 2-400 pts.wt. of the refrigerator oil for the hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant. |
