PURPOSE: To improve detecting accuracy by providing an ammeter for detecting a current which flows in a power supply circuit to a motor, and controlling the amount of steam which flows in a turbine according to a current value. CONSTITUTION: A turbine (T) is driven by utilizing waste heat which is discharged from a factory, and a motor (M) is driven by a commercial power supply, and the turbine (T), the motor (M), and a load (C) are connected to each other by a single shaft. An ammeter (A) is provided for detecting a current which flows in the power supply circuit to the motor (M) when the load (C) is driven by driving force of the turbine (T) and the motor (M), and a flow regulating valve (B) is driven on the basis of an output signal from the ammeter (A) to regulate the amount of steam which is supplied to the turbine (T). It is thus possible to carry out operation of the turbine (T) at output of the extent which does not exceed a load at all times, it is possible to avoid such inconvenience that power is generated by the motor (M), and also it is possible to improve detecting accuracy. |
