<p>PURPOSE: To provide a deodorizing apparatus wherein the installation cost and the expenditures for operation are inexpensive and its operation and maintenance are easily performed by providing an elevating flow path and a descending flow path through which an activated sludge mixed liq. is circulated and flows in a biologically deodorizing tank and providing an air-blowing means in the elevating flow path and an odorous gas-introducing means in the descending flow path. CONSTITUTION: A mixed liq. fed from an aeration tank 10 through a mixed liq. feeding path 9 by means of a mixed liq. feeding pump 14 is filled in a biologically deodorizing tank 1 and when air is fed into an elevating flow path 2 from an air-blowing means 5, a circulating flow of the mixed liq. is generated by an air lift effect. At a stage when the circulating flow of the mixed liq. is stabilized, an odorous gas generated in a water treatment installation is introduced into a descending flow path 3 of the biologically deodorizing tank 1 from an odorous gas-introducing means 4 and it is lowered by being accompanied with the circulating flow and it flows in the elevating flow path 2 from a communicating part of the lower part and the odorous substances are absorbed while it flows in this path and in addition, the odorous substances are biologically decomposed and removed with the microorganisms in the mixed liq.</p> |
