PURPOSE: To obtain a silicone foam with a high mechanical strength on the surface of a deformed material or a plane of a large area efficiently by mixing a liquid silicone composition caused to foam with a subsequent dehydrogenation reaction in a mixing chamber cooled by a forced stirring/mixing machine and causing the composition to foam and cure after discharging it with a compressed gas using a spray device. CONSTITUTION: Each component of a liquid silicone composition is previously divided into a main chemical and a curing agent, then these chemical and agent are adjusted, and are charged into material tanks 1, 2. Next, these materials are sent to a forced stirring/mixing machine 5 quantitatively using fixed delivery 3, 4, then are forcibly stirred by a rotor in a mixing chamber 6, and are mixed uniformly. A shearing heat generates due to the forced stirring action. However, the liquid silicone composition is maintained at 40 deg.C or lower by a cooling device 7 around the mixing chamber. Consequently, a foaming curing reaction no longer occurs in the mixing chamber. After that, the liquid silicone composition is introduced into a spray block 8 which is directly connected to the forced stirring/mixing machine or is connected to piping for connection, and is discharged together with a compressed gas. |
