PURPOSE: To prevent shortcircuiting between electroconductive filaments and slipping of the electroconductive filaments off a spacer by forming mobile margins on fitting mouths of holes of the spacer to restrict the rotation and twisting of the electroconductive filaments with a reduction in the bending of the electroconductive filaments. CONSTITUTION: A bipole electrode knife is made up of a tube 1, first and second electroconductive filaments 2 and 3, an electroconductive filament operating section 4 and a spacer 5. A tube 1 has a lumen 8 and the electroconductive filaments 2 and 3 and the like are inserted through the lumen 8. The tips of the first and second electroconductive filaments 2 and 3 exposed from a far end 7 of the tube 1 are fitted into holes of the spacer 5 and coupled being insulated electrically through the spacer 5 to form a loop 15 between the spacer 5 and the far end of the tube 1. The spacer 5 comprises an electrically insulating material and has the two holes 16 to fit the tips of the first and second electroconductive filaments 2 and 3 and moreover, mobile margins 17 of the electroconductive filaments 2 and 3 on the fitting mouths of the two holes. |
