PURPOSE: To provide a life jacket for work which uses a glass fiber cloth having an excellent flame preventing property against flame and an excellent mechanical property like pliantness, feeling, folding strength, nodular strength and hooking strength similarly to a synthetic fiber cloth unlike conventional glass fiber cloth. CONSTITUTION: A foamed body 3 for generating buoyancy is trimmed in an envelope 2 for a flame preventing life jacket formed of a cloth consisting of fibers having synthetic resin and inorganic binder fixedly applied to the surface of extremely fine glass yarn consisting of single fibers having 4 microns or less of average diameter. |
