<p>PURPOSE: To provide a wound dressing band piece which achieves a better surface characteristic and, moreover, a better dimensional stability and is free from fear of deformation caused by the absorption of a moisture component while having an absorbable foam layer. CONSTITUTION: A wound dressing band piece comprises a body layer 1 made of an elastically compressible hygroscopic foam material, a lined layer 2 which is provided on the external surface thereof to block the infiltration of a liquid into the body layer and a wound contact layer 3 having a surface facing a wound. The wound contact layer has a layer on which a moisture permeable material is mounted, and the liquid infiltration blocking lined layer has a layer on which is mounted a material at least with a moisture permeability and a gas permeability lower than those of the body layer.</p> |
