PURPOSE: To reproduce color printing in a form near to a display image by preventing monochromatic printing from becoming a black solid image as a whole when hard copy is obtained from the image displayed on a color graphic screen by a printer. CONSTITUTION: A color code capable of expressing medium contrast by expanding each of the display dots on a color graphic screen to the size corresponding to two bits of the bit image of printing data is set and a correspondence table 16 to which the color code data corresponding to display bit data is preset is provided and a color code converting processing means 13 converting the display dot data displayed on the color graphic screen to a bit image on reference to the correspondence table 16 to output the same to a printer 4 is provided. |
