PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive and positional dislocation preventive sight line detecting device. CONSTITUTION: Photosensors 3 and 4 and a subtracter 8 output a sight line detecting result according to a position of a boundary part between the iris and the sclera, and at the same time, a photosensor 5 outputs a quantity of reflected light according to a distance between an eye and a measuring system, and a sight line correcting part 6 corrects the sight line detecting result from an output value of this distance, and outputs a correct sight line detecting result.
