PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum extruder which is capable of deaerating a semi- fluid material with a great ease of operation and without the deterioration of working efficiency by constituting the extruder of a simple structure and preventing the semi-fluid material from accumulating easily in a vacuum chamber. CONSTITUTION: This vacuum extruder consists of an extrusion chamber 4 formed in a cylindrical barrel part 1, a material charging cylinder provided on one end of the extrusion chamber 4, a vacuum chamber 5 provided above the extrusion chamber 4 to the side of the material charging cylinder and communicating with the extrusion chamber 4, and one screw shaft 8 which can rotate freely in the extrusion chamber 4 and transports clay from the material charging cylinder to the other end of the extrusion chamber 4 and a screw 9. In addition, an elastic roll 18 which is driven to rotate in an opposite direction, sliding into contact with the screw 9 is axially supported through a roll shaft 19, in the vacuum chamber 5 near a region in which the screw passes through the extrusion chamber 4 (near the corner part P1 of an inner wall). |
