PURPOSE: To provide newer and more interesting variable displays by enhancing the variability of variable displays provided by variable display devices. CONSTITUTION: Pattern data for scroll displays is stored in a character ROM A65, pattern image data for morphing type fluctuating displays is stored in a character ROM B64, and if a shot ball enters a starting slot, patterns are variably displayed on variable display devices; when a next-to-scoring condition is met, a morphing type fluctuating display is effected at a right variable display portion. |
