PURPOSE: To facilitate the correction of degrading of quality of picture attributed to an organism and a transducer without need for correcting operation by an operator. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus is provided with an ultrasonic observation device 2 to display as image an ultrasonic signal obtained by scanning an ultrasonic vibrator 4 with an ultrasonic endoscope 1. The ultrasonic observation device 2 is provided with a buffer memory section 16 which is made up of FIFO memories 17, 18 and 19 to store images in a plurality of frames and a selector to select outputs of the FIFO memories. When a freeze switch 10 of the ultrasonic endoscope 1 is depressed to start a freezing operation, image data of the frame the least deteriorated is selected and outputted by the selector 20 from among the plurality of frames of images stored in the FIFO memories 17, 18 and 19 and displayed on a monitor 3 as still image. |
