PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain the subject granules excellent in thermal stability by granulating the fine particles of a specific bleach-activating agent in the presence of a melted binder in a vertical chamber having a stirring blade rotated in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION: A bleach-activating agent of formula I or II (R<1> is a 10-18C linear alkyl; R<2> is a >=7C linear alkyl; M is a salt-forming cation, H) having an average particle diameter of <300μm is granulated in the presence of a melted binder (preferably a polyethylene glycol having an average mol.wt. of 4000-20000, etc.,) in a vertical chamber therein having a stirring blade rotated in the horizontal direction to form granules having an average granule diameter of >=300μm. A speed mixed whose stirring blade has a circumferential speed of 5-10m/sec is preferably used as the granulation device. A propeller type agitator blade, etc., is preferable as the stirring blade, and further a cutter blade, etc., is preferably used together. The binder is preferably used in an amount of 20-70 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the bleach-activating agent. |
