PURPOSE: To establish effective manufacturing of pads for head rests by furnishing an aperture in the form of a long hole admitting head swings of the head rest body previously in the bottom surface of a head rest frame, and preventing certainly a foaming resin from intruding into the frame when a cushion pad is molded as a single piece integrally with the frame. CONSTITUTION: At the inner surface of a die 20, a resilient member 26 is furnished in a position mating with a pillar insert hole 23 for protrusion of a head rest pillar 10a to outside the die, and the pillar 10a is protruded through the hole 23 to outside the die upon threading through a through hole 26a provided in the resilient member 26, with which an aperture 13 in the form of a long hole is sealed, and a head rest frame 11 is set in the die. |
