POWER LINE TRANSMITTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR BALLAST DIMMING SIGNAL

The method is for applying a partial cancellation method to minimize a loss of a transmission power as well as problems due to the electromagnetic interference. The apparatus comprises: a power supply(1) transmitting a voltage required in a system to a zero crossing detector(2), which detects a zero crossing voltage from the output voltage of the power supply to send for a signal to a microcomputer(3) generating an interrupt signal; a microcomputer receiving a dimming information the user desires through a dimming switch(4) and calculating a time point to recover a signal removed from an arbitrary phase and a phase of the power supply upon receiving of the interrupt signal; a trigger circuit(6) amplifying the interrupt signal from the microcomputer and separates a system line from the power line(AC); and a SCR switch(7) performing on/off switching operation of AC power line according to the output of the trigger circuit.
