The electrical installation forming an electrical equipment cabinet comprises a support plate (10) having a planar support surface (26) to carry a multipolar item of equipment. This plate has a number of orifices and cut-outs (32,34) to fit the plate for the intended equipment. Mountings are provided to attach the support plate to two rails (12,14), each of which extend between a pair of uprights (16,18,20,22) attached to a chassis. The central support plate is fitted with an auxiliary support which is angularly adjustable w.r.t. the main support surface. The angle is chosen as a function of the particular connections required by the electrical appts. This auxiliary support may be formed by a folded cut-out from the main plate. |
