The floor cleaning tool has an outer shell (10) over the wheeled support (26) that runs on the floor. The wheeled support is fixed to a carrier that is separate to the shell. The carrier is fastened to the shell by clips (36) that engage complementary receivers on the underside of the shell. The wheeled support has a vertical front surface with a horizontal lip (32) projecting forward. A lip (36) engages in a slot in the base of the shell. A second clip (34) at the bottom edge of the front of the wheeled support snaps over the edge of a downward facing wall on the underside of the shell.
