The exhaust pipe has sections (2-4) connected together. The sections are each formed of a single piece of aluminium. The sections can be formed by gravity casting. They can be welded and-or screwed together. The first section can have a flange (5) to allow fixing to the engine, and is attached at its other end to th expansion section.
