<p>A material for vehicles, in particular convertibles, having an upper woven fabric, a lower material and a rubberised material arranged in between is described. The soft top material is distinguished by the fact that the upper woven fabric is formed from warp and weft threads consisting of polyacrylonitrile, that at least the warp threads of the upper woven fabric consist of continuous filaments (multifilaments), that the upper woven fabric has a coating at least on the upper surface of the fabric, that the rubberised material between the upper woven fabric and the lower material is a two-layer material and that an intermediate layer of high-strength material is embedded between the rubberised layers.</p> |
