The chair has two frames (3,5), made of wood or metal, which are moved to modify the angle of the seat and to increase the height of the back (2). The seat frame (3) slides forwards along two metallic slides as far as a stop. A vertical bracket (4) on the back of this frame moves forwards a flap (5) behind the back which is articulated by two hinges. An horizontal plate (6), on the bottom of the flap, supports the back cushion which is fixed to it by a slide clasp fastener (7).
