The tube has a reinforcing tube located within it to prevent deflection of the tube walls due to pressure differentials. The inner tube is mounted to run the full length of the main tube and has apertures to allow the fluid to flow through the inner tube between the separate chambers. The heat exchanger tube can have a cross-sectional width to height ratio of ten or greater.
