The transport arrangement consists of a first (2) and a second endless belt (3). The first belt feeds the workpieces which are placed on it into an enclosed channel (16), which reverses their direction of movement and orientation of the workpieces and places these on the start of the second belt. The through-flow area of the channel (16) reduces gradually towards the outlet.The two transparent belts can lie either in line with one another or lie at an angle to one another. A spray jet arrangement (9) is mounted above each transparent belt.
