NOVEL COMPLEX SALTS OF PHOSPHORIC AND AMINO ACIDS AND RUMINANT FEED ADDITIVE COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

Novel complex salts of phosphoric and amino acids which are mainly composed of a basic amino acid, an alkaline earth metal and a phosphoric acid selected from among orthophosphoric, condensed phosphoric and metaphosphoric acids and which are insoluble in neutral or alkaline water and/or aqueous solution, but are soluble in acidic water and/or aqueous solution. A ruminant feed additive composition containing the complex salts is excellent in the protection of the feed from decomposition in the rumen and the exudation thereof in the abomasum and can improve the feed nutrient effect of the lysine and other basic amino acids that are apt to be contained only poorly in ruminant feeds. The composite salts are represented by the following general formulae: RaMbHcPO4.nH2O (I), RaMbHcPO4(PO3)m.nH2O (II), RaMbHc(PO3)m.nH2O (III).
