PURPOSE: To enhance unit control and on-site installation workability and to form a neat stairwell by constructing a staircase unit as a single unit spanning the upper and lower stories. CONSTITUTION: This staircase unit 14 comprising stairs 48 installed between upper and lower stories while joining a floor structure 44, a wall structure 45 and a ceiling structure 46 together is constructed as a single unit spanning the upper and lower stories. As a result, a staircase 47 forming a vertically continuous space with no beams is constructed, thus forming a neat stairwell and providing the advantage of simplifying unit control and on-site installation work. Also, to meet diagonal limitations, it is desirable that a part of the ceiling structure 46 be formed into a roof support 49 with a downgrade toward the eaves. Also, a skylight 50 spanning the upper and lower stories is provided in the wall structure 45 to have the effect of admitting sufficient daylight into the hall of the lower story, etc. |
