Noise protection wall made from old vehicle tyres

The steep noise-damping barrier wall is constructed from goods vehicle tyres (LKW reifenschalen) cut in half together with green coloured industrial fleece or foam material (Vlies, Farbe grun). The tyres are filled with earth and no binding medium or structural support is required.The fleece in combination with the tyre halves retains moisture in the earth filling. Openings are made in the fleece or foam to allow the insertion of growing plants.
