RECYCLABLE WAX-COATED CONTAINERS

A recyclable wax-coated paper product comprising a paper basestock coated with a wax composition comprising a mixture of a paraffin wax having a melting point of about 130 DEG F to 160 DEG F and a viscosity of about 10 to 200 cps at 10 DEG F above the melting points, a fatty acid having about 8 to 24 carbon atoms and a microcrystalline wax melting at a temperature less than about 180 DEG F and a method for recycling the containers prepared therefrom are disclosed.
