An electric apparatus, in particular a controller or regulator for electromechanical arrangements, has an electric circuit (11, 13) at least partially arranged on a printed circuit board (10). In order to enable the electric apparatus to be arranged for example in the area of the engine of a motor vehicle, the circuitry parts of the electric apparatus are contained in a sealable housing. The housing has at least two parts (3, 4) of which one (4) is fixed to the electromechanical arrangement and the other (3) may be moved away from the fixed housing part (4). Groups of circuits (11, 13) of the printed circuit board (10) are held on each of the housing parts and are interconnected by flexible connection lines (12).
