The oil is stored in a tank (36) with connecting passage (38) to the crankcase (9). Oil in liquid form is directed onto the working parts in the crankcase and mixed with gas flowing through the latter, forming fine particles.The particles are discharged from the chamber to avoid oil accumulating there, and delivered via an engine piston (17) to a combustion chamber (200) or returned to the tank by the pressure generated by the reciprocating piston. Delivery to the crankcase from the tank can be by pump (39), while there is an opening (39) in the passage connected to the crankcase and which is situated above the level of the working parts.
