Textile material to flank top of window well in vehicle door

The textile material to cover the upper sides of a window well in a vehicle door, on either side of the sliding window, is a textile carrier with surfaces towards the window containing evenly distributed PTFE components when fitted. The PTFE components reduce the local sliding contact between the window glass and the textile material. Pref. the textile carrier is of materials bonded together with an isocyanate adhesive. The carrier is composed of filaments containing polyester, polyamide, polypropylene and/or filaments of polypropylene copolymers. The material is produced in a Raschel mfg. process. The PTFE component is a fibre with a PTFE content, used for the Raschel warps. The textile material has hollow zones near the carrier, to take dirt particles, and the carrier has a high water permeability and its water retention is reduced by impregnation.
