Control device for a gearbox

The mechanism comprises a rocker (60) with an arm (62) having a guide slot (64) for a control pin (66) linked to a sliding shaft (54). The guide slot has two sections (68, 70) lying more or less perpendicular to one another, and two inclined guide surfaces controlling the movement of the synchroniser. Both inclined guide surfaces are situated on a cam (72) which retracts when the rocker performs a disengagement movement in relation to the reverse gear. Opposite to the second inclined guide surface, the slot has a counter-surface lying parallel to it for moving the control shaft in the synchroniser disengagement direction. The cam is mounted on a support pivoted to the arm and spring-loaded in its active position.
