PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient recording and reproducing levels from an incoming side to an outgoing side by providing specific combination heads mutually in the relation of 180 deg. on a rotary head drum. CONSTITUTION:Rotary heads 2 and 4, in which azimuths are made equal and the positions of a center A0 of the curved surface of a radius (r) are made opposite to each other, are fitted at an angle Q1, and they are the combination heads to be at a distance l1 on a circumference. Combination heads 3 and 5, in which the azimuths are made mutually equal while different from those of the heads 2 and 4 and which is in the position relation of 180 deg. to the heads 2 and 4, are provided on a rotary head drum 1. The center A0 of a front surface (r) of respective preceding heads 2 and 3 is provided in a core lower edge vicinity to form a head gap, and the center A0 of the front surface (r) of the following heads 4 and 5 is provided in a core upper edge vicinity to form the head gap. Thus, the sufficient recording and reproducing levels without omissions by means of a secure head touch can be obtained. |
