PURPOSE:To obtain a display apparatus having high safety, by making a display apparatus for displaying navigation data movable in a display surface turning direction. CONSTITUTION:At first, when the display picture 100 of a CRT 2 is present at a predetermined position, an operator restarts an engine and applies a control signal to a control apparatus 6. Whereupon, the apparatus responds to the predetermined position detecting signal from a position detector 3 and the engine restart detection signal from an engine restart detector 11 to drive a servo apparatus 1 and returns the display picture 100 of the CRT 2 from the predetermined position to an initial position. An operator inputs necessary navigation data through a navigation display and control apparatus 8 while looks the display picture 100 returned to the initial position. Thereafter, a servo apparatus activating signal is applied to the apparatus 6 through a terminal 20 and the display picture 100 of the CRT 2 is moved to the predetermined position through the servo apparatus 1. When a vehicle is allowed to run in this state, the detector 3 outputs a predetermined position detecting signal and, therefore, the display of navigation data is continuously performed. |
