PURPOSE:To release and reset a clock function without freshly providing a switch or the like for releasing the clock function by previously setting the data which does not exist as time data in a memory and comparing the same with input data. CONSTITUTION:A controller 22 for mode selection is set at a clock mode, then the time mode inputted from numeric keys 11 and the prescribed data which does not exist as the time mode stored in the memory 26 are compared in the controller 22. A counter 27 for a clock starts counting by responding with the control signal C1 from a controller 23 for a clock and the inputted time mode is simultaneously displayed on an LCD display part 31 as the present time if the data do not coincide with each other as a result of the comparison. On the other hand, the counter 27 stops counting by the control signal C2 from the controller 23 and the time currently displayed on the display part 31 disappearas if the data do not coincide with each other as a result of the comparison. |
