<p>A production system includes a small tension leg platform (24, Fig. 1) connected to the sea floor by vertical tendons (50) and connected to sea floor wells by vertical risers (52), which avoids over or under tensioning of the tendons and risers. A restraint structure (66, Fig. 7) that is mounted on a lower portion of the platform, prevents horizontal movement of the tendons and risers relative to each other, which assures that all risers and tendons extend parallel to each other when the platform drifts in a severe storm. <IMAGE></p> |
