The silica gel in air is crushed and heated to remove water, then is added to the solution of 3-aminopropyltrimethoxy silane coupling agent. The silica gel is treated, filtrated to obtain the solid. The butadiene rubber in THF and filtrated solid is mixed and AIBN is added as initiator to react for 4 hrs. as shown in Fig. 1. The obtd. butadiene rubber combination filler is added to the rubber compd. in the ratio of 1-70 phr., which reduce the formation of silanol group, namely, the silica gel's water absorption property and prevent the hydrolysis of tire cord. This filler also disperse the silica gel effectively and improve the coherence between the silica gel and rubber.
