<p>The shorts, made from a lightweight elasticated fabric, have an elongated elastic strip (10) sewn into them. The strip passes round the back of the shorts below the level of the buttocks, rising obliquely at the sides to the level of the hips. The two ends of the strip, made e.g. from elasthane, are joined together at the front of the shorts and at waist level. The shorts also have a front panel of elastic material which extends from the crutch up to the waist and is joined by seams to the ends of the elastic strip.</p> |
