PURPOSE:To ensure sensitivity fit for a light source for scanning exposure for a planographic printing plate and to improve the printing resistance and shelf stability of the printing plate by immersing the printing plate in an aq. soln. of sodium hypochlorite having a specified concn. at a specified temp. so as to regulate the time required to elute 90% of all the coated layers on the emulsion layer side. CONSTITUTION:A planograhic printing plate is immersed in 0.2% aq. soln. of sodium hypochlorite at 40 deg.C so as to regulate the time required to elute 90% of all the coated layers on the emulsion layer side to 5-15min. In order to ensure sensitivity fit for a light source for scanning exposure, a silver halide emulsion used has been sensitized with a dyestiff. Sensitivity fit for the light source is ensured for the printing plate and the printing resistance and shelf stability of the printing plate can be improved. |
