<p>PURPOSE: To provide an IC card, equipped with a visual display part for information which is directly controlled by a CPU, which eliminates the need to leave the utilization state of the card on the storage device of a service terminal and reduces the load on the terminal and is extremely hard to be illegally forged. CONSTITUTION: The IC card is equipped with at least three kinds of memory which are a ROM, a RAM, and an EEPROM and a CPU which accesses those memories, and performs processes for writing and reading information, etc. The visual display part 115 which can have its display changed directly by the controller (CPU) in the IC is united in an IC module, and generates a high voltage by the voltage boosting circuit in the IC under the control of the controller (CPU) in the IC and then blows a fuse at a specified position among a specific number of fuses 112 connected electrically to the IC chip 111 in the IC module to make a display, which can be viewed from the outside through a glass window part 115 united with the IC module.</p> |
