PURPOSE: To lighten the burden of editing operation on a user by automatically and collectively processing the modification, symbol, and column positions of title parts of the chapters, clauses, or paragraphs in group units of the respective chapters, clauses, or paragraphs. CONSTITUTION: The title part in a document is detected by a chapter, clause, and paragraph detecting means 1-6 and its editing information is displayed at a display and print part 1-12, and the editing information on the title part is standardized by an identical-group character modification standardizing means 1-7, an identical-group discrimination numeral and inter-title-character symbol, and space standardizing means 1-8, and an identical-group column position standardizing means 1-9. |
