PURPOSE: To provide an air bag device capable of reducing its weight resulting from the weight reduction of an inflator, reducing the manufacturing manhours and manufacturing cost resulting from the abolition of the flange section of the inflator, and facilitating the removal of the inflator. CONSTITUTION: This air bag device is provided with a folded baglike air bag 1, an inflator 3 feeding the inflating gas to the air bag 1, and a bag holder holding the air bag 1 and the inflator 3. The bag holder is provided with a bottom wall 9 having an insertion hole 9a insertable with the inflator 3 from below, and hook pawls 10 extended obliquely inside upward are protruded on the inner periphery side of the insertion hole 9a. The hook pawls 10 hook the lower face sides of hook lugs 5, and the inflator 3 is held by the bag holder. |
