PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a neutron-flux detector in which an irregularity in the sensitivity of neutrons is furthermore smaller. CONSTITUTION: The ionization-chamber-type neutron-flux detector is provided with an inside electrode and an outside electrode which have been coated with a neutron-sensitive substance, and it detects the number of neutrons by measuring charged particles generated when the neutron-sensitive substance has caused a nuclear reaction with neutrons. In the ionization-chamber-type neutron-flux detector, the film thickness of the neutron-sensitive substance which coats the inside electrode and the outside electrode is set at a thickness at which the sensitivity of neutrons is saturated.
