<p>PURPOSE: To prevent adjacent surge protection switch circuits from being subjected to electrostatic breakdown at the same time. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a glass substrate, a display part which has plural pixel electrodes 151, plural pixel TFTs 121, and plural wiring lines Xi and is formed on the glass substrate, short-circuit lines SRX1 and SRX2 which are formed in an area CA, plural surge protection switch circuits CTXi which connect a corresponding wiring line Xi electrically to the short- circuit line SRX1 or SRX2 when the potential of the wiring line Xi exceeds a specific level in the area CA, and plural inspection pads CAXi which are formed in the area CA and connected to the wiring lines SRX1 and SRX2. Specially, all the inspection pads CAXi and all the surge protection switch circuits CTXi are arranged on one side of the display part and the odd- numbered inspection pads and even-numbered inspection pads CAXi are separated from the edge CE of the glass substrate by mutually different distances.</p> |
