PURPOSE: To provide a device for purifying aqueous hydrogen peroxide using a reverse osmosis membrane, capable of suppressing the decomposition of the aqueous hydrogen peroxide and aiming for preventing the loss of the product and occurrence of the safety issues by providing the device with plural specific means. CONSTITUTION: This device for purifying aqueous hydrogen peroxide comprises having a means supplying a raw aqueous hydrogen peroxide 1 to be purified to a reverse osmosis membrane separating device 2 through e.g. a storage tank 3 and a pump 5, obtaining a purified aqueous hydrogen peroxide 6 and the concentrated aqueous hydrogen peroxide 7 containing concentrated components to be removed therefrom from the reverse osmosis membrane separating device 2, installing a means supplying the concentrated aqueous hydrogen peroxide 7 again to the reverse osmosis membrane separating device 2 by uniting therewith the raw aqueous hydrogen peroxide 1 through e.g. a passage 8, and further having a means for removing transition metals in the aqueous hydrogen peroxide e.g. a packed tower 9 before supplying the concentrated aqueous hydrogen peroxide 7 again to the reverse osmosis membrane separating device. As a means of removing the transition metals, preferably one or more selected from cationic and anionic ion exchanging resins and chelating resins are used. |
