PURPOSE: To obtain a compound oxide having high uniformity by reacting a specific complexing agent with each metal of a metal component constituting a compound oxide to produce a metal complex, then reacting, the metal complex with a diol to afford a polymer and subjecting the polymer to degreasing treatment. CONSTITUTION: A complexing agent having at least two carboxyl groups and having at least one coordination dentate as other group is reacted with a metal ion of a metal component constituting a compound oxide so as to form a coordination bond of at least one coordination dentate with the metal ion to produce a metal complex in which at least these two carboxyl groups are left. Then, the metal complex is reacted with a diol. Thereby, polymerization is carried out by formation of ester bond of at least these two carboxyl groups of the metal complex with a diol to produce a polymer. The polymer is then subjected to degreasing treatment to provide compound oxide raw material powder. |
