INTERNAL CHILL METHOD USING LOST-WAX PATTERN CASTING METHOD

PURPOSE: To improve the molten integrality of a suction tube with a 1st flange part and a 2nd flange part. CONSTITUTION: After a 1st lost-wax pattern 7 and a 2nd lost-wax pattern 8 of foamed styrene are joined to a suction tube 1 having an end part 1a formed so as to be made thinner than the other part, a molten metal is poured into the 1st lost-wax pattern 7 and the 2nd lost-wax pattern 8 from a weir 13, 17 arranged at the position opposing to the end part 1a of the suction tube 1 and the 1st flange part 2 and the 2nd flange part 3 are chilled internally onto the suction tube 1.
