PURPOSE: To facilitate finding defective parts in a high power transistor having an array of fingers, and enable cut-off of the defective parts, if desired. CONSTITUTION: Base electrodes 2 or emitter electrodes 3 led from respective divided blocks of a transistor are connected to a base bonding pad 4 or collector bonding pad 5 provided for enabling the operation check of every divided block. This facilitates locating a defective part or cut off thereof. These pads 4 and 5 are disposed near bonding regions 6 and 7 and the divided blocks are coupled by bonding at one point, thus unifying them. |
