PURPOSE: To enable a user to select a virtual image viewing eye, to eliminate a position shift when a head mount type display device is put on, and to mini mize the fatigue due to the position shift. CONSTITUTION: A virtual image formation optical system 3 is fitted by screwing onto a threaded shaft 4 which extends almost the eye width direction of the user 2, and the shaft 4 is held in an idling state on a device body 1. A partial transmission type light shield plate 8 is provided on the opposite side of the user from the virtual image formation system 3 and a slit 25 is formed at its center position. |
