摘要 PURPOSE: To enhance an effect for calling attention to fault display by considering human visual characteristic and turning on/off a display light or changing luminance with a specified frequency by which a flicker is felt most. CONSTITUTION: In a flicker visibility curve where degree to sense the flicker is generalized, a horizontal axis is adopted as the frequency(Hz) of a voltage fluctuation and a vertical axis is adopted as a flicker visibility coefficientαf. It is expressed as the coefficientαf as to the frequency with sensitivity in the most sensitive frequency as 1.0. Flicker visibility is highest within the range of 5Hz-20Hz from the flicker visibility curve and the flicker frequency which a person sensitively feels as most unpleasantness is 10Hz. So, a monitoring person is permitted to sensitively feel a luminance turning on/off cycle being the turning on/off of the fault display light and luminance change as 5-20Hz, more preferablly as 10Hz. Thus, fault display is quickly and surely reported to the monitoring person.
