PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition useful as a coating liquid composition, having excellent adhesiveness, handleability of viscosity and stability after curing even in a high-temperature/humidity and a low-temperature/humidity atmospheres, containing a water dispersion of an epoxy resin and a water- insoluble polyamine-based curing agent. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (A) a water dispersion of an epoxy resin containing (ii) 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. of fine crystalline cellulose and (iii) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a surfactant based on (i) 100 pts.wt. of an epoxy resin and (B) a water-insoluble polyemine-based curing agent. The component A has <10μm average particle diameter and the component (i) has an epoxy equivalent of 100-1,500 and is obtained by polymerizing a monomer selected from a glycidyl ether, a glycidyl ester, a glycidylemine, a linear aliphatic epoxide and an alicyclic epoxide. The compound B is preferably either one of an aliphatic polyamine condensate, a modified alicyclic polyamine compound and a modified aliphatic polyamine compound.
